“We’ve been continuously sending the message to these guys that they’ve bought to toss strikes,” A’s manager Mark Kotsay explained, according to The Mercury Information.
“Throw strikes in the middle of the plate ideal now. Really do not stroll any one. If you get hit, you get hit. We’ll go from there. So that’s the ongoing message that we’re gonna pound.
“It’s killed us all season, and we have acquired to tackle it, and we’ve acquired to get far better.”

“Walks these days are like hits. It was big,” Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor stated. “We passed the baton. No just one was striving to be the hero. We definitely concentrated on trying to get a very good pitch, and if it was not there, we’ll choose it.”
Lindor matched a profession-large Friday night, driving in seven operates with a grand slam and a 3-run double as New York improved to 8-6 on the time.
