Another easy cleaning remedy you should try is olive oil in cleaning stainless steel. Despite looking shiny, stainless steel appliances are sometimes dirty. In order to effectively clean stainless steel appliances such as an oven, you need to wipe the appliances with a cloth which has olive oil on it.

You can replace dishwasher soap with borax, citric acid, salt, and washing soda. If you discover that the dishwasher soap has run out, you need to take one cup of washing soda, one cup of borax, half a cup of citric acid and salt.

You should try to use lemon in cleaning your microwave. Some particles of foods are sometimes stacked on the sides of the microwave. In order to clean these bits of food, you need to put half of a lemon in the microwave. The heat produced by the microwave will heat the lemon and the lemon juice will evaporate and break down those particles of food which are stacked on the walls and roof of the microwave. You can easily make a cleaning spray by using vinegar, lemon juice, and water. Mix the lemon juice, vinegar and water in an empty spray bottle and shake well. The quick spray should be used in cleaning the worktops and other surfaces in the house.

Vinegar, rubbing alcohol, dish soap, warm water, and essential oil will make a good floor cleaner. After mixing them together, the mixture will be more effective than a vacuum cleaner.
